Viigo Adds 25 Free Classic eBooks From DailyLit

viigoebooks[1] Viigo just let me know that they have added a new service to their entertainment portion of Viigo Project Tango. This new service downloads a portion of an eBook every day for free. These books look to be public domain books so you could probably also get them free in Mobipocket but that more of a dedicated eBook reader. I do have to give them props for having great titles to choose from including my favorite, The Count Of Monte Cristo.

If you don’t already have a copy of Viigo you can pick on up free at www.berryreview.com/viigo

If you already have Viigo installed just go to the Entertainment option on the main screen and click the Add button. Select DailyLit and then select the eBook you wish to subscribe to. You will then get a portion of the eBook every day.

Let us know what you think! Personally I am a Mobipocket Junkie so I will be sticking to that for now.

  1. I just selected The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I've never read a book on a BB so this should be interesting.

  2. I first started reading Ebooks on an HP200LX palmtop (Google it, it's an interesting device) and various PDAs. I even read a few books on my little pearl screen and now have read several on my curve. So far my favorite reader is mobipocket(free/beer). The good thing about mobipocket is they have a store where you can legally pay for books (I'd rather pay for an Ebook when I can). MP also reads palmdoc formatted books and lets you convert word/pdf/html/txt to palmdoc on their desktop app.

I will check out Viigo but I doubt that a s/w not dedicated to being an Ebook reader would do a better job than MP. However, it's still the best news aggregator.

  3. I love this but I am stuck and cant get anymore of the book.
