Summer let me know about this cool application that Kevin raved about on CrackBerry.com. MusicIP, the company behind MyDJ, is working on a slick new MP3 player with two major differentiating factors. First it will scan your songs and create a playlist based on your mood and it will also allow you to discover new songs by streaming in a new one every once in awhile kind of like Pandora. You can also share your playlist creations with others which is an interesting social factor. It just goes to show how much more can be done with the BlackBerry as a media device.
Kevin pointed out that there is a beta already available for the Bold at mydj.musicip.com/BlackBerry. Users with other devices need to sign up to be notified when it is released. You can check out Kevin’s great write up on the software at this link.
If you have a Bold let us know what you think! This is definitely a piece of software I will be keeping my eyes on.
