I couldn’t stop laughing when I read this post on PopGadget.net. It seems like the orthopedic company IMAK has come out with a glove that is supposed to offer thumb support for users who are experiencing pain while texting. I can’t wait to see people pulling out their “support gloves” on the NYC subway before shooting off an email.
I also found out that “BlackBerry thumb” now has an official Latin name:
“texting tenosynovitis” – an inflammation of the tendons in the thumb from excessive text messaging
