When we reviewed the hybrid hardcase by Seidio I was wondering what the cutout near the camera was for. It turns out that Chris Baca was correct when he said that the cutout was for a new battery cover by Seidio. If you have ever opened the back of your Curve you can see how the speaker sound is routed through the back of the device using the battery cover. With the new battery cover by Seidio the speaker does not get distorted by having to bounce off the plastic back of the battery cover. The new battery cover is going for $14.95 on Seidio’s website and is now available for preorder.
