This may be a moot point after the 8820 was supposed to soft launch, then available on Amazon.com and then removed. Well the BlackBerry 8820 has resurfaced in an ad on the back cover of this month’s Computer Shopper Magazine. The ad by Newegg.com (as you can see on the left) has the 8820 going for $129.99 with a new 2 year activation with AT&T. The only problem is that the device is nowhere to be found on their website. What is nice about Newegg as a cellphone vendor is that they have no qualms about selling a device without a service plan like most AT&T stores.
