Google has answered users requests for more storage by offering larger storage plans for Gmail and Picasa for a price. The extra storage is to upgrade your free 2.8GB on Gmail or your 1GB on Picasa and can be shared between the two. The plans break down like this:
6 GB ($20.00 per year)
25 GB ($75.00 per year)
100 GB ($250.00 per year)
250 GB ($500.00 per year)
It seems like this has limited appeal to anybody other than power users or others who store large images at Picasa. If you consider the fact that currently you have 2.8GB + 1GB = 3.8GB free the 6GB upgrade is really only 2.2GB extra for 20$ a year. They really should have an option between the 6GB and 25GB plan. To learn more about the upgrade just go to this link or to read the announcement go here.

So, after numerous unanswered “Help” questions, someone fixed the issue without notifying me, and after 8 frustrating days of not being able to post photos, finally my purchased 6 Gbytes are added to the 1 used Gbyte of posted photos.
This is NOT due to any helpful answers or sloutions from Picasa or Google or Blogger… there weren’t ANY… NONE! It just finally worked as advertised after a delay of 8 days I’ve been charged for… I want those added to the 365 I purchased the 6Gbytes for!
A email would not be out of line guys and gals, I the customer paid for but didn’t get the product for 172 hours past the disclaimed 24 grace period for the storage to get added so I can continue enjoying my blog http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/
You can do better for your customers and long time supporters, just have an email we can conact a human with to get help!
The problem I had wasn’t solved on the blog help threads!
