This is a pretty good deal from Bplay since they don’t offer discounts often. After reading their last mailing I noticed that they are offering a 20% off coupon if you become their fan on Facebook. I guess that really does not cost you anything so if you were planning on picking something up from Bplay this might help you save a few bucks.
You can click on this link to join their fan club on Facebook. I am not sure what they gain by you becoming a fan but I always love a discount.
Let us know if it works for you!

Its Friday! Pizza Day for a lot of people and how convenient is it that one of our readers, Tashanna (thanks!), has informed us that Pizza Hut now has some competition in the mobile ordering game! Domino’s has now decided to give customers the opportunity to order items off their menus straight from our BlackBerrys via text messaging.
I decided to check it out since I happen to like Domino’s. First visit the Domino’s website and register for their mobile ordering. You will then receive a text message with the link for their mobile site. You can also just go to mobile.dominos.com but you must register at their website to be able to place an order.

Once you receive this text, follow the link to their mobile ordering site. Then you can find a store for a walk-in or place an order or delivery or carry-out.

Then enter your username and password that you used when registering at the Domino’s website. Place your order, and voila, pizza at your door in about 30 mins.

You can use online coupons through the mobile site and even build your own pizza all via your web browser. I gave it a try and I have to admit that it’s a lot more detailed in its ordering than Pizza Hut. You can build your own delicious pizza starting with the crust and working your way up to sides, desserts and even drinks. That is just way too many screenshots to post. You’ll have to definitely check this one out! Register for Domino’s mobile ordering at Dominos.com. Happy Pizza Day!

Ricky just sent us a tip with the latest game out of Bplay & Magmic studios. It looks to be a side scrolling action game with some fun puzzles. You can pick it up for $7.99 from Bplay. The best part is that it looks like there is a trial available for Eagle Eye!
Eagle Eye - $7.99

Defuse a terrorist plot and race against time to uncover the truth in this action thriller based on the Paramount Pictures movie Eagle Eye. Realizing you are being used to further her diabolical plot, you must work together to outwit the woman before she has you killed. Eagle Eye will keep your heart racing and your mind engaged with this platform action-puzzle hybrid.

Tom just let me know the good news. We have mentioned BBNotepad quite a few times on BerryReview as a great free text editor for BlackBerry. One of the downsides of the application was that you were constantly prodded with security prompts because the application was not signed. This has now been fixed!
If you use the application make sure to send the developer a donation if you can! You can find the new download links at the BBNotepad homepage at one of the two links below:

Tashanna just let us know that Ascendo has released version 3 of their Money application. The application is really shaping up and now has a much nicer interface that is not as hard on the eyes. I really like the import and export capabilities from Quicken and MS Money.
New features in this version:
- Budget management and analysis.
- Forecasting account balances to avoid overdrafts.
- Auto-Complete to select payees in as few as two clicks and Auto-Fill to enter default field values based on payee.
- Reports, Bar Graphs and Pie Charts.
- Bank Reconciliation, Transaction Splitting, Transaction Filters & more.
Improved features:
- Advanced account management with net worth(see below).
- Customizable transaction registers with running and ending balances(see below).
- Extended transaction data type to include category, type, status, payment method and user defined field such as check number.
- Improved user interface including Roll & Scroll(TM) navigation and updated graphics.
- Enhanced support for international currency and date formats.
You can pick up the latest version from the store for $29.95. I would highly recommend trying out the free trial to get a feel of how the application works. The desktop portion of the application is actually quite good and really rounds out the application.

Let your dog chomp and chew all over this BlackBerry without having to worry about slobber, bite marks or being “berried”. As long as you can pick up another one for 3 bucks, who cares right!

I have seen this floating around a few places, and thought that it might be good for a laugh. This is an actual dog toy available from www.dogstuff.com. You can pick it up for 2.95 plus shipping. I think I’m going to pick up a couple, one to add to my BlackBerry collection and one for the hounds!
Modeled after the popular email and PDA device, this trendy new “Petberry” toy will make your dog look as important to his friends as he is to you. Toy measures approx. 5″ high.

First they take away the wonderful KickStart name from their new clam-shell and call it a Pearl. Now it seems that RIM has decided against calling the long-touted touchscreen BlackBerry the Thunder. Instead, it looks like they have chosen another weather related name, the “Storm”. Its seems like the touchscreen BlackBerry will be shipping on Verizon as the Storm and on other carriers such as Rogers & Vodaphone will be calling it the Thunder. Yay! More confused users…

To be honest, I don’t mind this new name change near as much as I did with the Pearl/KickStart fiasco. However, “Thunder” has grown on me over the past few months. Such is life, I suppose. Let us know what you all think about this new name change.
In the long run, I don’t know how much these names really matter. RIM seems to have a problem sticking with calling devices by a name rather than a number. Perhaps it is the years of habits yet to be broken, but I know many people who refer to their Curves as 8300s and their Pearls as 8110s.
Perhaps RIM is hoping that this new device will catch the world by Storm-Sorry, bad joke, couldn’t help it.

I know that sadly many of us do not have a BlackBerry Bold but one of our secret agents sent in a link to the latest OS available for the Bold. If you do have a Bold it may be worth the upgrade and if you don’t it cant hurt if you plan on getting it later on. From what I can gather this is the OS that the AT&T Bold should be shipping with but I could not confirm that.
BlackBerry Bold 9000 OS
4.6.0 release 253
Platform: 4.0.0.139
Applications: 4.6.0.134
The link sent it was: http://www.mediafire.com/?kzpmqqxqtjw
NOTE: Do not install this software if you do not know what you are doing. It may make your BlackBerry FUBAR or just plain angry.
