With the release of Blackberry Bold in many countries, more accessories are coming out. The kind folks at JavoEdge have sent me 2 JavoEdge Skin Cases (Black and White) and 2 JavoScreen 2.0 Screen Protectors(Anti Glare and Ultra Clear), all for Blackberry Bold. You can find detailed product info at JavoEdge Skin and JavoScreen pages. They retail $12.95 and $10.95 respectively. The skin case made out of silicon, it is very lightweight and resistant to dust, unlike many other skin cases I used from other brands. It has all the proper cut outs to access all the device ports/buttons.
Geocaching is an entertaining adventure game for GPS users. Participating in a cache hunt is a good way to take advantage of the wonderful features and capability of a GPS unit. The basic idea is to have individuals and organizations set up caches all over the world and share the locations of these caches on the internet. GPS users can then use the location coordinates to find the caches. Once found, a cache may provide the visitor with a wide variety of rewards. All the visitor is asked to do is if they get something they should try to leave something for the cache.
It looks like it now supports OS 4.5 on the 8000 series devices and support for the media card. The app has a full 30 day trial after which it is $14.99. They have been pretty active with developing this beta. They also have an AMAZING CHANGELOG!!! (RIM could learn a thing or two from them)
This was a big shock to me when this notification went out that BES for Groupwise is finally getting a Service Pack. We will probably see it getting updated straight to Service Pack 6 bypassing service pack 5, however there seems to be SP 5 floating around under the radar. So what RIM will do in terms of there final choice for public release is still unknown.
If you are on the Groupwise release keep a look out for it in the next couple weeks via the BlackBerry.com Downloads page.
Lucy let us know about a new app that was released recently that flew under the radar. It is essentially a sales rep contact manager with some cool features that is free for up to two users. After that pricing gets a bit expensive at $300 for 5 users. Let us know if you try it out. You can get a free trial and read more at this link.

We will be continuing our tips promotion. All you need to do is send us a relevant tip and you’re entered to win $50. Every month we will randomly select one reader who has sent a tip. That person can choose to receive $50 through PayPal OR a $50 Amazon gift certificate.
We already receive 20-30 tips a day from you (our amazing readers), so we decided to reward something many of you already do! If you submit multiple tips in one month you have that many more chances to win. All tips remain confidential if you wish.
As a reminder…
Tips can include but are not limited to:
A hot new BlackBerry release or rumor
New software or a software update (For example a new version of GTalk)
A new theme release that we have not mentioned
New or updated BlackBerry accessories
Relevant news you found on another website
Relevant leaked/insider information
An interesting mobile website
A tip on how we can improve BerryReview
Anything BlackBerry related that you think we would find interesting
In short: if we post an article about it you know you have the right idea
Rules:
Tips must be sent to either tips@berryreview.com or by using our Contact Us Form. That way we can accurately record your tip to be included in the drawing.
Every tip you send in is counted as another chance to win.
Tips that have no relevance or are just plain ridiculous (based on our judgment) will not be included in the drawing.
You must include a valid email address along with the tip or else we won’t be able to contact you if you win.
If you are selected as the winner we will do our best to get you your prize as long as it is allowed by law. For example, if you live in Nigeria you are probably out of luck.
We reserve the right to modify, end, or cancel this promotion at any time at our sole discretion.
The winner can choose that the $50 USD prize be delivered through either PayPal OR an Amazon gift certificate. (Keep in mind that PayPal will probably deduct some fees.)
Sadly Public Relations representatives and vendors are not eligible for this promotion.
After the commercial on CBS this is starting to get old. We are getting advertisements for devices that are not even confirmed by RIM to exist yet… Looks like Time and Gizmodo are betting that an announcement will be made tomorrow. I personally thought they were going to wait until the developers conference.
