S4BB has been on a software release spree in the last month or two. Their latest releases are two small and simple applications for BlackBerry.
The first is called TimeTracker which goes for $9.99. This is a very very simplistic time tracking application for those who need to keep track of billable hours. Sadly there is no way to export the information. They should at least add that feature.
The second is a very dubious BatteryBooster application which goes for $4.99. Personally I always put these sorts of applications in the same category as stick on antenna boosters.
I will reserve judgment until I have a chance to try it out myself. Anybody know what the 105–108% guarantee on the box means?

Hayden has scored once again by getting details on one of the nichiest (is that a word?) accessory for BlackBerry devices. It is called the Bayalink Liberty and it has a very specific function. It allows you to use certain BlackBerry functions from your laptop such as sending email, browsing the internet, or open attachments through the BlackBerryn over Bluetooth. You can read the details below or head on over to Bayalink’s website for more.
The Liberty Key is available now for $99.99 on Bayalinks website. The only caveat is that it mentions that there is only a 1–year subscription? I am not sure what you are subscribing to but I would recommend looking into that before buying. Also keep in mind that there is a snowballs chance in hell that your BES admin will help you setup such a service unless you are on really good terms.
Bayalink Liberty has been designed from inception to be fully integrated to the Blackberry platform with convenience and security as primary foundations.
Once configured, simply plug in the Liberty Key and launch the handheld software. The software communicates between your handheld and the Liberty key via Bluetooth technology giving you the features of your BlackBerry on a regular screen and keyboard.

Convenience:
- Send a message using Liberty, it gets sent from your BlackBerry
- Delete a message using Liberty, it gets deleted on your BlackBerry
- Mark a message read using Liberty, it gets marked read on your BlackBerry
- Request a webpage in IE or Firefox using Liberty and the BlackBerry fetches it for you
- Compose a lengthy email using Liberty or compose it with your thumbs, you choose
- Request an attachment, and it is downloaded for you
Security
- Bayalink Liberty requires that the Viewer be launched from the handheld; this ensures only authorized access to your handheld resources
- The Bluetooth link can be secured with the highest levels of encryption - AES - with our proprietary encryption services for enterprise customers
- No data is ever stored to the remote PC or laptop unless the user puts it there
- If you pull out the Liberty Key or walk out of Bluetooth range, Liberty detects something is not right and automatically closes the viewer
- Additional services can be provided to further lock down the Viewer to align with your enterprise architecture strategy for end user computing.

I was just reading a great post on BlackBerryForums.com by Sci-Tek where he mentions 3 different SNAKE games that work or may work on BlackBerry devices. I tried the first two and they worked and caused some serious nostalgic reflexes. Just though I would share. Let me know about your experiences. Thanks Sci-Tek!

First of all I think it is stupid of RIM to still not allow you to access the Owners Lounge from your BlackBerry. With that said Hayden got the skinny on another free Magmic game, Pub Checkers, in the BlackBerry Owners Lounge. This is just the plain old Checkers game you grew up with.
Once again you need to be a registered member of the owners lounge to get at the game and the install is Desktop Manager only. The game is available for the all the 7XXX & 8XXX series devices which covers all of the color BlackBerrys out there.
It seems to be a new trend that older Magmic games are showing up free in the Owners lounge and BlackBerry mobile website. Hopefully there are more to come.

With Sprint, ATT,Verizon set to offer $99 unlimited calling plans things seem to be looking on the up and up. Personally I don’t spend more than 300 minutes on the phone a month but I know others that spend 100 times as much. I guess T-mobile will have to follow suit with their own $99 calling plan.
AT&T has added a twist to their unlimited calling plan by banning smartphones from plan. I guess they just want to screw with power users.
The thing that I find ridiculous is that SMS messages still cost $.20 or $.15 per message. You can have an unlimited data plan sending hundreds of megabytes but you have to pay a dime to send 2Kb of text. This gets even more ridiculous when you consider the fact that a phone call is streaming 30 times more data every second. Just another ironic part about the phone industry.
How much time do you think it will take for Verizon and AT&T to come out with an announcement that “Unlimited” really means limited.

Well you know that PocketDay version update we mentioned earlier? We kind of jumped the gun with the feature list but the version is now available at the links below. It comes in both OS 4.2 and 4.1 flavors.
www.pocketday.com/downloads.htm
Or OTA at www.pocketday.com/ota.htm
The new version is pretty cool and just shows the constant dedication that Mark puts into PocketDay.
If you are interested in a trial or purchasing PocketDay check out the Professional & Personal editions in the BerryReview Store. With the risk of sounding like a broken record don’t forget the 20% off promotion going on now.

Kasey sent me an email a week ago about a website that I had visited a few times in the past called BlueroomSolution.com. After poking around the site for a little bit I did find some nice themes that I have not seen elsewhere.

As far as I can tell 95% of the themes seem to be in the 8300 series forum but I may be wrong. I did not count them all but I saw at least 20 and stopped counting. (I ran out of fingers and toes)
The themes look pretty good but the website does take a bit for each page to load. You can see some screenshots above and below of the ones that I liked. The only real caveat I had was that after you view a certain amount of posts you have to register or else it wont let you view browse anymore. I always thought that was a pain and turns away more users that it brings in…

Check out the themes at this link
