When will Blackberry be able to get the Barnes and Noble ebook App. I have tons of book on my PC and on my pandigital e-reader. I would really like to be able to get it on my Blackberry devices. What is the hold up? All the other major devices support this app, why can't blackberry. That Kobo book app is always freezing and the selection is not that great. Plus you can't get all the cool magazines and newspaper subscriptions. Anyone know when the Barnes and Noble app will be ready for Blackberry devices??

)~ It's been fun for people to knock the kobo app but I've yet to find a book on Amazon that isn't on the kobo. The Kobo app on my playbook doesn't freeze up and I get all the books I want.
I can understand wanting the B&N app, maybe it'll come with the android player and 2.0. Maybe not since the PB is a competitor to the nook. However trashing the Kobo app is pointless.

There had been a bit of a glitch with my Kobo app about 2 or 3 months ago and I couldn't access my books via my PB. But, Kobo came out with an upgrade/bug fix that have resolved the issue. I haven't had any issues with mine now.
As for getting books from Amazon, B&N or Kobo I almost always find the books on Kobo are cheaper. Granted that they may not always have the book first but they do get it within a week or so. I've never had so desperately wanted a book that I couldn't wait.
Kobo is actually a huge on-line presence out of NA. That's actually why Rim went with them. They were a Canadian company but now owned by a giant Japanese conglomerate...

There's an nook app for blackberry but its trash I use kobo on my PlayBook and 9850.

I am not trashing Kobo at all, but every time I get into reading a book with the Kobo it always freezes or the page refuse to turn and I have to restart it. Lucky you if your Kobo works great for you but its a frustrating experience for me. I rather have the Barnes and Noble App because I have never had any problems with it. And in addition Barnes and Noble have better free ebooks than Kobo.

It isn't "lucky" for me. If the Kobo app was freezing as much as you imply it would be all over the web and be front page news on Crackberry, just as the temporary sync problem that PB noted was.
Fine you want B&N app and you want to buy books from them, but as I said spreading crap about the Kobo app is just dumb.
