Hey all, did you find some connectivity issues with the new OS? I find sometimes I have to exit out of a page and come back for it to reload a link on a page… weird thing is that I'm in the same room as my wireless router… could it be the cache memory? Sometimes it doesn't even pick up the router at all. I never has this kind of inconsistency on the older version.
Any thoughts?

I find if I turned of wireless N, everything is fine
February 27, 2012 at 3:31 PM #196567That's not exactly an acceptable solution at work.
February 27, 2012 at 4:31 PM #196568but well, lets try to get to the root cause 1st
February 27, 2012 at 4:56 PM #196569I'm not running on wireless N at the moment (I use to have Linksys/Cisco wireless B/G and N and it ran perfect). My wi-fi modem is now thru our cable company and I'm wondering if that could be part of the problem?
I also get the random "Blackberry is unable to find the network service" or something close to that even though I show I have signal strength.
I've just also cleared all history/cookies/cache memory etc., not sure if that'll do it.
My son has the same problem on his playbook and he tells me he can't even get on Youtube in the same room as the wireless router.
February 27, 2012 at 6:49 PM #196570I don't have this issue. But for me, the Wifi no longer overrides the bridge. So I have to shut off my bridge first, to use wifi. Then turn it back on. It's quirky.
February 27, 2012 at 7:23 PM #196571I have the same problem with wifi and bridge sometimes. weird, a reset always fix it though.
March 2, 2012 at 11:37 PM #196572I'm curious Corey and RHCE – how do you test whether it's wifi that's working or Bridge when they're both connected?
Important for me – because my phone plan doesn't include streaming data – so I only ever use wifi for that.
In the interim it seems that I should NOT bridge when using the internet and considering streaming.
(Well – after I get my PB back from the repair shop, that is, lol)
March 4, 2012 at 12:40 PM #196573If you have Wifi anf bluetooth on and you are using bluetooth, the wifi icon will be white or white with a * if it's a hotshot.
So, if you turn off bluetooth, connect to wifi. The reconnect, you should be fine.
