You can't really ask which phone is better without some additional information regarding its intended use and your preferences on user input and other factors. I don't believe any phone is "better" than the others. There are phones that are "better for me" or "better for you". I like having a larger screen, but I also want a physical keyboard - so the Torch is better for me. Tell us more about what you are looking for in a phone.

You're on a BlackBerry blog, I'm pretty sure you can guess what the answer is going to be here. But yes, without details of your intended use, that is a difficult question to answer. BlackBerries are right for me, but that can't be said about everyone. Comeback with details and hopefully we'll be able to help you out.

The ways I see it... if your priority is useless play apps. Iphone.
If your priority is ANYTHING ELSE, OS 7 Blackberries take the cake.
When QNX comes around... BB all the way

There really is a lot of personal preference when it comes to phones. I love the physical keyboard. My kids don't know how I can type on it. The best way to find out what is right for you is to get your hands on both devices and play around with them for a bit. And don't get so wrapped up in how many apps a particular device has or doesn't have. Does it have the ones you need? That's all that matters.

A device is only as good as the user and WHAT the user does with it. If you're a business guy and send/receive alot of emails then a Berry is probably best. If you're looking for an entertainment device then the IPhone is probably best. I carry a Berry, my wife has the "I thingy" (her words, not mine). I do all the work/family messaging on my Berry and we play games on hers the majority of the time. Now, thats not to say that you don't have any games available to you on a Berry. I have several, but the "I thingy" is used more for that in our family

Yes I know, my question is too general. I should ask more specific and I think I have to ask in a "free" forum that not provided by both product, the result it might be different. Anyway thank you so much for your advice and opinion. Have a nice time...

If we compare features i believe all the phones are
close enough. The Blackberry experience is what
sets BB apart. Nothing out there can compare to the
way things integrate and just works together and
they way we get notified and can be social.
Each person can like something different but you
can not compare using a smartphone based on
features/check list (in the US they like that alot).
If you spend hours on your smartphone it needs to
work with you and not just work.
I do not believe anything out there can even come
close to how Blackberry works with users and help
get through the day.
So these new phones may not be earth chattering
compared to other brands but they bring them to
equality and add to that the BB experience and it is
amazing.
I find myself extremely productive using my old
torch and bold i can only imagine what these new ones are
like WOW.
Other phones can have dual cores and super high
res screens and the lot but you still won't be as
productive as on a BB and you will spend alot of
time recharging the other phones and not the BB.
What is the point of being mobile if you are always
plugged in (of course you can buy spare batteries
for some but that is extra $$)Posted 9 months ago #Post-Permalink
