Okay, let's speculate: RIM will of course announce the five new smartphones, 3G & 4G PlayBooks, as well as some news for developers (they must!), and Android & BlackBerry app support on the PlayBook. Of course, of course!
However, there is something else RIM may be holding close to their chests. I'm sure Mikey has something cool to announce as he likes to wow the audience. What could that be? A 9-inch PlayBook?
How about a 12-incher with quad core processors and 4 GB of RAM for those who want a powerhouse desktop environment complete with all the enterprise software you would care to dream of, including flip up camera. It is still portable too, as it will fit in most laptop carry bags, but it will have the ultimate portable tablet experience.
I'm sure we will hear of plans for BlackBerry 8, but RIM won't talk much about the smartphones using BB8 as they want folks to buy the BB7 devices not yet released. Maybe the devices will have front facing cams even though we haven't seen any demos of those.
Perhaps RIM will make some alliances with other parties including Oracle. Getting the full OpenOffice (touchscreen version) for the BlackBerry PlayBook would be cool :) I'd like to see a few wired & wireless keyboards too.
I'm also sure RIM will demo some cool new apps for the PlayBook to show what is possible on the device.
Any other ideas folks? I like to dream...
