I know there are some of you out there who have been using BB from the very beginning. I am curious what you do with your old BB's after you upgrade. Do you sell them? Toss them? Give them to kids or loved ones? Smash them to pieces with a hammer?

Still with me. I will get the housing replaced and change out the batt if its over 2 years and continue using it. :)
I mean, as a spare wireless/music player.. and considering my dead apple music player now (just today sigh..)..
I have sold them. Even old bbs have generated cash for me.
As long as they aren't too old I always try to see what cash I can get for them. I'm a little worried my 8900 might be too old by the time I upgrade later this year.

How do you manage that? I'd love to have more current devices but can't afford the unsubsidized prices.
I try to keep my stuff in pristine condition so i can sell em at their max value, that way the prices of the new device aren't that painful. but yeh, it's my vice hah.

I'll have to look into that. My 8900 is in excellent condition. If I could get a decent return on it, I might just be able to get the Bold Touch when it comes out and still get a QNX phone when they get released.

Same here. My 8320 8900 9650 9700 and now 9800 :D
Only have my 89 and 98 with me. The rest lent to family and friends. Hehe
sometimes i use my upgrade from my carrier to sell and then buy a phone i like. ie. i got the Xperia x10 for the subsidized price as an upgrade and sold it right away.
