   Ok - last night I successfully upgraded to OS 2 and used the features etc.

   Used the Turn Off button and then charged it up this morning whilst it was still in the Off mode.

   Later I took the charge plug out and then turned the PB on.

   BUT - now I can't get past the Blackberry Playbook screen that changes colour every now and again. I can't get the device to open out so to speak.

   The home screen of the PB does not come on.

   Meanwhile - I opened Desktop Manager and I can access all the files on the Playbook through that - pictures, videos, music, but I can't back up.

   What's going on?

   Looks like might have a glitch, if you don't mind getting all your data deleted, you can do a clean install by going to DM plug in playbook and click update when it reboots it will do a clean install.

   I lost my new keyboard this evening too. The one with the row of numbers on it. It was there earlier tonight but gone now. Hmmm? The OS1 keyboard is back.

   Luis - yeah thanks I'd started to do that because I guessed it was gonna be the only way!

   Oh well - it won't cause me any real problems ....

   Although when it first started the update process it showed that it was installing 0 of 1 modules.

   After some time of the green bar progressing my Win 7 crashed and so i had to start the DM process again after I rebooted.

   This time the update shows that 69 files are being updated .... so something odd there too.

   Currently it's in stage 2 and downloading the 69 modules.

   Steve - I noticed last night that the keyboard style changed according to the program/app that I was in. Well that's why I thought it changed.

   Maybe it's dicky?

   Will have to watch that and see what happens. I thought I was posting here earlier when I saw it but then when I came back later it was gone. I checked every setting I could find in case it was something there. Still playing with it all the new features so we'll see.

   When I was typing in a password field the new keyboard shows up. When I leave the password field its gone again. Should be on all the time I think.
