There is no linked in App for the 9930/9900.... say what???
Can't wait till BB10 when we no longer have to have apps that done't work in the new phones.
Sometimes I'm amazed - not in a good way

The LinkedIn app always sort of sucked. RIM actually baked in LinkedIn with BlackBerry 10 and Playbook OS 2.0. You are better off with the LinkedIn mobile website on BlackBerry phones.

I agree about the LinkedIn app, they recently revamped the mobile website and while I'm not sure I'll use it any more frequent, it's an improvement. The entire UI on the website could benefit from a revamping as well...

I'm not a big linkedin user so this isn't really a gripe about the lack of that software, it is just an observation about how switchimg handset types and OSes makes it so hard for RIM to compete.
I teach gazillions of business students so I get tons of linked in requests. Until recently I ignored them but now I think I should not. Linked in is the one App I thought RIM would really nail. Glad to hear it is integrated into 2.0 and presumably BB10.

I don't think Rim would build the Linkedin App. That's up to LinkedIn to build, just like Kobo or B&N or Amazon building their own apps. Dissatisfaction with the LinkedIn app should be directed to LinkedIn don't you think?

I think RIM wrote both it's twitter and facebook apps for the phones.

But the twitter and FB apps are baked into the device, I don't think LinkedIn ever was, just like Kobo wasn't baked into the BB Phones although it's baked into the PB.
