Rogers customers can get excited about the fact that the 9700 Bold and 8520 Curve have found their way into the Rogers upgrade system. The BoyGenius claims that the 8520 will probably pop up around the beginning of October with the 9700 coming later that month.

Anybody as excited as me about the 9700 Bold?

Very Very cool. I want more info about the 9700 for T-Mo. Previously it was discussed that T-Mo’s 3G frequency is different from that of AT&T. I assume that means that there will have to be 2+ versions of the 9700. Which carriers use what frequencies? Is T-Mo the only exception?

Not sure if they won’t just cram another frequency but I doubt it. T-mobile uses AWS 1700mhz while AT&T uses 850mhz and 1900mhz while most of europe uses 2100mhz.
