How do I remove BBM pending requests waiting for authorization? I have a couple in there that I cannot delete. I don't want to delete the contact, and removing the link to the contact doesn't appear to do anything at all.

i have always just gone to the pending request and hit the del key on the keypad.
I usually write down the PIN so I can re request the person.

Why does it remove the PIN from the Contacts app? If so, RUBBISH! BBM should not mod the Contact list, except additions.
I tried what you suggested. I have a Storm with no physical keyboard, so it appeared illogical to me to have to bring up the keyboard and hit backspace (or delete) to remove the pending entries in BBM. It worked! Thanks!
I normally would have expected to bring up the menu and select Delete. As I found out, the menu item "Delete Contact" did the same thing! Now, why would they name the menu entry "Delete Contact"??? I was afraid to select that thinking it would remove my Contact from the Contact database. This should have been labeled "Delete Request" or "Delete Item" (whichever item you selected). Developers have to be very specific to avoid confusion!!!
Sometimes I wonder where the developers' logic comes from? For example, when I run low on RAM, my Storm asks me which apps I want to delete. Really? How about asking which apps I wanna close? That makes too much sense, I suppose. It's not like archiving apps ever worked well anyway. Each time I archive an app, after a few days, it just disappears altogether like it never existed. I must re-install it.
Anyway, too much bitchin'. I do like my Storm, but I will LOVE the Storm 3. The issues I have with the Storm are poor speed, no performance, pitiful memory, no WiFi, and 5 minute reboot time. The Storm 3 appears to address all of my concerns and gives me a bigger screen, OS 6.1, and a bunch of new features too. Too bad there is no front facing camera! With this device, I can wait a bit for OS 7 on a dual-core platform :)
