I realized this a little while ago and was reminded of it today on my commute. This may only apply to OS 5.0, but you guys can let me know. When I hit the lock button on the top of my 8900, it turns off the screen and locks the keyboard. What I figured out was it does NOT lock the volume keys or the mute button. Its perfect for when you're playing music and don't want to hit the keyboard.
The obvious downside is that the volume and mute buttons could be hit accidentally as well.
Is it the same on OS 6?
