@ Kiddo2050: I'm with you on BB. I'm not interested in changing phones, but I am interested in technology and what other platforms offer.
My son had an HTC Dream and I've played with it. It is not the easiest phone to use and it wasn't a very "tough" phone. It seems to have promised much but never really delivered on the user experience. I'm interested to see if the Droid experience have evolved from two years ago. BTW my son is now using a BB Bold and swears up and down he'll never use any other phone except a BB.
As for the CB posters, I think they're too busy naval lint gazing and declaring the sky is falling because the stock is falling. They make comparisons to to Palm and Nokia without looking at the bigger picture and direction that Rim is moving in. People complain that Rim doesn't give out timelines etc., but if you truly did your research you'll find the timeline is out there, but it seems everyone wants it simply spelled out for them. Y'know like "timeline for dummies" LOL ;-)
I made a comparison on another thread here that Rim is going to be more like IBM. I still hold to that point.
However back to this thread, I'm curious about the Droid experience now 2 years later.
As BBA said we're in Canada and Droid is just not that big up here. You look at those riot pictures in Vancouver people are clutching BBs and iPhones. Not much Droids floating around.
