Its definitely about time to see BLACKBERRY EVERYWHERE! Keep it up Rim
I was really hoping we'd see a new commercial that was made especially for New Years Eve. Still, it's good to see them all over the place.
Hmm those ads go me overly excited and I installed a bunch of apps on my 9930 (after swearing I wouldn't). Now my 9930 is back to be an old RIM Lag laggy Mclaggard. Argh!! :(

You could have my 9700. I just updated the OS this weekend and almost threw it out onto I-95 today when driving home....hour glass off and on all day long.
While I think it's great they are finally advertising (since I'd only seen 1 Playbook and 1 Bold commercial the past year), I don't like their commercials.
1. Night biking...doesn't show or tell about the phone.
2. Diplo or Dipo...shows one BBM message and the his music fans and blah blah blah.
Show what BlackBerry's can do!!
They need to bring back the AT&T Torch 4G commercial or make new ones similar to it. It showed how you can post videos to YouTube, update Facebook, play games, check in with FourSquare, and do everything you could from the office. It was funny too - "That's mayor Dennis, of the water cooler". Ads like that are more likely to catch someone's attention than the Night Bikes or Diplo ads. I don't even know who that Diplo guy is so why would I care what phone he uses.

Yeah, I hadn't heard of him before the ad either and then I saw him in the background of something, a music video...if going for name recognition, they needed to do better, especially when Drake supposedly writes his raps on his BB, Will.I.am is a BB user if I recall...heck, Common did a BB freestyle at one of their events. The AT&T 4G one required no celebrity and was superbly well done (I think it was more a AT&T 4G ad then a BB ad though).
Agree about the ads they are just so fast and full of irrelevant content.
I only realized after the 50th time seeing the bike ad that it shows email, BBM, facebook, and maybe twitter. But the ad doesn't tell you that. It let's you figure it out. Well the average person either pays no attention or is saying "Blackberries, ya they do nothing" the ads need to break through and say No, this is what they do!
BeBold is a good slogan, now tell us what BeBold means!!!

I thought it was just BBM at first. After seeing it quite a bit I think I noticed Wikitude in there as well showing the location of the pack of bikers. These ads are far to subtle for the average consumer. The AT&T ad did a lot better job saying what a Blackberry can do. I think ads with humor tend to be remembered more too.
Lol. And what about us that don't like or use the Bold. Where's the #BeTorch hash? Well...guess that could lead to BGR posting an article saying people are torching their BlackBerry's! lol
Funny, Corey, I wondered the same thing
I don't think BeTorch has a good sound. They'd need something like "Light your way with the BlackBerry Torch" or perhaps just "Find your way with the BlackBerry Torch". I'm not sure what sort of hash tag they'd use though.

Hahaha...you bet, straight from their exclusive (nonexistent imo) RIM insider himself.
