It was only just yesterday we did a mention about Elecite creating 10 of their popular themes for 8350i BlackBerry devices. Now, I must make mention of them again…this time eVeek…as they’ve just released their latest free theme LUSH. I haven’t even had a chance to take this baby for a test drive yet but you know I will. According to eVeek, Lush “sports a wallpaper-friendly vertical sliding bar of 7 icons. With space for Today icon previews you wont even have to click on the icon to see what its all about. Just arrange your favorite 7 icons to the top of your application list and youll be able to see them on the front end. Its a beautiful green theme youll use for a while.”

    What’s even greater about this theme is that it’s supported for 8300, 8800, 8900, 9000 & 9500 devices. Yay!!

    Lush is available at eVeek.Com.

I like the theme’s overall desktop presentation. A few issues that need to be addressed (if the developer chooses to do so):

The font color should be darker in BBM. It registers as a light grey.

The icons are cool but mscooley has a point about the call screen.

Overall, I do like the theme and I thank you for providing it free of charge.

Indeed a great theme and very thankful that it’s free.

Id like the developer to address the following…as already stated above:

    – scroll bar seems counterintuitive, down is up, up is down…will take some getting used to

    – on the call screen i also have the white/white issue. My temp fix is to assign a caller id photo to address book so I can at least see the picture pop up. A bit problematic with 600+ contacts, and for those random incoming calls that arent programmed.

    – i have not experienced that crash that MiszA commented on, and I hope i dont.
