imageI know that Tour users have been dying for an upgrade since the device was released. I just got word from quite a few tipsters that OS 4.7.1.42 has been found in the wild for the Tour. Here is to hoping it fixed the issues found in the release OS.

    Download @ Megaupload

IMPORTANT: Don’t forget to uninstall the RIM Internal Tools before installing the OS to your device!

Let us know what you find in the comments!

NOTE: Do not install this software if you do not know what you are doing. It may make your BlackBerry FUBAR or just plain angry.

Thanks Mcky, Steve, & Dominik via BlackBerryOS (I think…)

Just to let everyone know this Os has been out for 2 weeks now.I tried everything to get it on my Tour. Some have had no problems but a lot have fubar their blackberry. Post back if your one of the lucky ones to get this on you Tour.

Wouldn't it be nice if when ever we messed up our live we could simply press ' Ctrl Alt Delete' and start all over??

Worked great for me. Haven’t noticed too much of a difference, although things do seem a bit snappier and the trackball seems a little more responsive.

Then again it could just be because I reinstalled an OS. Who knows.
