For those of you whom are adventure seekers (love to install leaks and such... Dammit if I can't have OS 7 I will take what I can! Lmao) however I DID not keep this installed and went back to my .56 leak. This leak still only offers the blue on grey bubbles and is not as sturdy as the BETA BBM 6 as far as Group functions go/lists esp. To install BBM 6.0.0.88 leak follow these steps:

1. Back-up ur device
2. Make sure u are running on OS 6.0.0.570+
3. Download BBID from here:http://www.theiexplorers.com/LeakedApps/BBID/BBID.jad
4. Intall leak from OTA here: http://www.theiexplorers.com/LeakedApps/BBM/88/BBM.88.jad

Caution: this leak is about 50/50 #Fail rate... Seems like luck of the draw.... Do NOT install unless u know how to unbrick ur device... :)

Ur BB ID should be what u use to log into APP World. What u can do is try to log in from the site directly: http://us.blackberry.com/id/ also try the reset password option, depending on how long ago u created ur ID it could just be that u don't have it constructed to current standards (I.e.- BBID passwords now need to be alpha-numerical so the ID supplement u just DL'd is gonna be pissy) lol if that doesn't work post back and there are a few more things u can try.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear.

My ID is a strong alpha-num 8 digits pass and it works. I can't make the BBID leaked thing connect. And get errors when I try creating a new one aswell.

How would an online log in help me any on this situation? I don't see how...

Gave resetting the password a shot, made it 9 digits alp/num. Works online and in AppWorld. Still "Unable to login to your BlackBerry ID account (40661)".

I'm ready for those other ideas when you are...

Yes I DID misunderstand u lol as u did NOT define the way ur password was set-up... Lol however if ur bbid is working elsewhere and if resetting it didn't aide u I wouldn't mess w/it... This extraction is VERY touchy... And if it is already giving u issues it's pretty safe to say a brick may be in ur future... My Hybrid OS is perfecto and ran it about as fine as it could be run, but many w/official Os have had MANY issues.. :) my advice, if ur bbid is working everywhere else, don't bother w/the implanted bbid. :)

But but... it is so shiny and pretty....

Yeah, I'll get rid of it. Would have allowed me to use the new version of BB Protect thou, from the leaks.

Yes and that runs flawlessly :) it's a. Shame u couldn't get it to reset... But if u are interested still... Just try opening bbid from pc and using the password and user name u currently have, attempt to reset it from the PC/main site, then reboot ur phone and u can try once more... The other options I have involve a lot more work and basically may or may not work... Lol. But yeah, I don't know why, but for whatever reason if u can get it to reset and sync from the PC it will work for u... I've ever seen posts where they suggest u STAY logged in to bbid via PC and then after reboot log in and it works w/this add-on.

As they say in movies... "This makes no sense... so it just might work".

I did reset, as I said in the previous post. Let's see what happens.

EDIT: I'm confident now, that even with all permissions set to allow, the leaked bbid is not accessing BIS. I tried telling it I forgot my password and got an error confirming it.

Ok :( yes then I would just leave it be... It isn't liking u... Lol.... Lol if I see anything post on how to quickly remedy this for u i'll surely post back....

Actually I have one more thing for u to try, I've just checked the version of the BBID in the link given vs mine I'm using v 1.0 from my fav source :) try his bbid :) delete the old one 1st from 3rd party apps, then reboot, reinstall w/this: http://goo.gl/qTSDc :)

I'm using the current from Beta Zone, no worries there.

On the 1.0 version, I did wonder since most stuff from 6.1/7 don't work... Nice catch! I'll install it and report back.

EDIT: So, I was right it was not connecting to the internet and you were on spot with the 1.0 rollback fix. :)

Awesome 1.0 is a go! :) yes I wonder if that's why so many had issues w/this leak vs myself who had only minor bugs, grp issues and leaks disappearing... Hmmmmmmmmm lol well .88 sucked any way! Lol .56!!! That's my baby!
