Oh Internets, gotta love how you can find links for unreleased software for an unreleased phone! (referring to the Storm2)July 28, 2009 at 1:20 PM #179125
unless someone actually does have a Storm2 somewhere…July 28, 2009 at 1:27 PM #179126
Keep in mind that if you are running a BlackBerry OS version LOWER than 126.96.36.199 it will NOT work.July 28, 2009 at 1:28 PM #179127
I guess we can be pretty confident that this won’t cause RIM to pull the plug on BBM 5.0 the way Skyfire did.
Have to ask: Is this any different than the version leaked before or is it just a “re-leak?”July 28, 2009 at 1:30 PM #179128
Dude, read the post.July 28, 2009 at 1:34 PM #179129
From the testing I’ve done, they are the same versions as the previous leak. (But the links were removed fairly swiftly last time)

Actually, I’m running 188.8.131.52, and bbm5 works fine.July 28, 2009 at 1:45 PM #179131
Dude, I did. It does not say specifically if it’s a newer version or not. And from the fact that Greg took the time to answer my question, I guess he agrees.July 28, 2009 at 1:58 PM #179132
I have downloaded the OTA on my Curve (OS 4.5) and installed it, but when my device reboots there seems to be no icon. The program is listed in Options –> Advanced Options –> Applications, and is listed as the correct version. How do I get the icon back, or will I need to restore back to the previous version?July 28, 2009 at 2:14 PM #179133
WORKS WITH 8110!!! WONDERFUUUUULL!!!!July 28, 2009 at 3:05 PM #179134
Works on my 8900 version 184.108.40.206. Anyone know if OS 220.127.116.11 is worth installing and is stable to use?

It doesn’t list it on the version numbers above but I downloaded the desktop install and installed to my BB 8830 WE phone running the lastest verizon 4.5 OS and it works fine as far as I can see. Pretty cool!July 28, 2009 at 3:31 PM #179136
I have no icon, after it was installed, it made a reboot, and no icon for BBM 5 appears, although it is listed in the application list. I have curve 8900July 28, 2009 at 3:33 PM #179137
