We have been covering the BlackBerry App World 22.214.171.124 release quite a bit today. Now we have the official change log thanks to RIM. I also got the great news that a colleague of mine, Douglas Soltys, is now working as RIM’s official Blog Manager and I expect great things from him! He let me know that Alex K put up a short tutorial on RIM’s official blog at this link.
Official change log below:

Crap..makes my Storm slow as molasses…seriously does RIM ever test their software?July 31, 2009 at 10:29 PM #179466
Stupid app won’t run if it can’t see the appworld servers. Does that mean you can (un)archive when out of wireless range? Stupid.July 31, 2009 at 10:48 PM #179467
I think it’s worth noting it looks like they fixed the way trials work. That was a pretty big issue.August 1, 2009 at 2:12 AM #179468
Can’t connect!August 1, 2009 at 2:37 PM #179469
Why are none of the blogs reporting that the new App World doesn’t work on many Blackberries? Check out the popular BB forums and tons of people are getting error messages. Best advice – keep the old version until all the bugs are worked out of the new version.August 2, 2009 at 1:19 AM #179470
Nice catch Simon I didnt see that.
Ed I did not try it out of range I will have to check it out.
Did it take like 2 minutes to start for anybody else?August 2, 2009 at 10:53 AM #179471
Does anyone know of an OTA link for those of us outside the mentioned countries? I am using v1.0 and it works very well wherever I go.August 2, 2009 at 5:36 PM #179472
ther’s a way to fix the no connection error.
_Do not download direct from you phone!
_Go to your computer , go to the app Worl download page
_And from there input your email adress and have the
download link sent to you phoneAugust 2, 2009 at 7:26 PM #179473
Load App World for the PC and it should work. The OTA for the 8330 is bad
