"As apps become available through this offer, they can be found in the App World carousel in a category called “A Thank You Gift from BlackBerry.” We will also announce the availability of new free apps on Facebook and Twitter to make it easy for you to find and download them when they’re released.

Separate SKUs will be created for each app in BlackBerry App World. You won’t have to pay for the app once you’ve downloaded it for free. All of the apps selected for the Thank You Gift offer will be available to download at no charge until December 31, 2011, and they are yours to keep and use afterward, even if you upgrade your device or software. This will be managed through your BlackBerry ID account."

Does that mean we wont enjoy free updates after the offer?

I hope they don't screw us by making us pay for updates. Not a great thank you if you ask me.

My guess is no free updates, but also no demand that you update. If you like what you got then you get to keep it. I just downloaded the drive safe.ly app and I like it as is. They might add to it but I will have the option to pay for the upgrade or just keep using what I have, not bad.

I used the free version of drive safe awhile ago. I found that having my messages read out loud became more of a hassle than waiting to read them when I got the chance. The app itself I'm sure works well for serious road warriors tho. They can keep on top of them without having to touch their Berries

Bubble Bash 2 is the next free gift available. It looked pretty decent from the one level I played so far. Still waiting for Bejeweled and Vlingo Pro.

I love the bubble games. Pretty much all the variations of them. That will probably be fun. I am eager to try Vlingo too. Have wanted to for some time.

Playbookapps has becomes new gift in this month.I am regular member of this apps since last 2 year and i know who has good and great collection about all blackberry playbook apps.I hope this will be useful for us.
