JasonP let me know that Iusacell has released OS 220.127.116.11 for the 9530. For some reason it is listed under the 9500 but the OS is for the 9530. Definitely worth checking out since this is newer than the 148 out from Verizon.

NOTE: Don’t forget to delete the vendor.xml file located in c:program files>common files>research in motion>apploader to install it on a different carriers device.
I am not able to get this to load on my phone. Does anybody have a different install or advice? Any information is appreciated.
After you have installed the download on your PC, go to:
c:program files>common files>research in motion>apploader
First, delete “vendor.xml”
Second, double-click on “Loader.exe”
Follow the prompts.
I would go get BBSAK from rimgeeks.com first and do a full backup of all apps first though. Oh, and use Desktop Manager to do a backup of your contacts and such. Loader.exe will offer to do a full backup and restore of your data and apps, but I personally like to have my own backup before trusting the “during upgrade” backup.
