			<title>BerrySwami on "RESOLVED: New Blackberry OS 5.0 for Storm Today Theme Issue"</title>

			<description>&#60;p&#62;This morning I upgraded my OS to 5.0 through the &#38;quot;official&#38;quot; channels. As I have read in other blogs, third party themes are not working properly in the new OS. I was using BBampd blue theme and in landscape mode it was white on both sides and when I scrolled it left impressions of the icons, kinda like when your computer freezes and your windows run.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Aside from that, I miss the today theme that I had and am looking for one that will now work with OS 5.0.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;So far EVERYTHING seems faster. Faster touchscreen input, application response, etc....&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The only thing is WHERE IS FLASH SUPPORT?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;-BS

You must use the popular BBSAK (BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife) tool to install these files on your BlackBerry but this just goes to show that RIM is actively working on 5.0.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;strong&#62;UPDATE: &#60;/strong&#62;radioguinea &#60;a href=&#34;http://berryaddicted.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&#38;amp;t=2139&#38;amp;start=0&#34; onclick=&#34;javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/berryaddicted.com');&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;posted the ICQ files on BerryAddicted&#60;/a&#62;. Thanks Morganizer!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;You can &#60;a href=&#34;http://berryaddicted.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&#38;amp;t=2110&#38;amp;start=0&#34; onclick=&#34;javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/berryaddicted.com');&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;download the files at Megaupload at this link&#60;/a&#62;. As I said you will &#60;a href=&#34;http://www.berryreview.com/2009/08/21/blackberry-swiss-army-knife-bsak-updated-to-version-v1-5/&#34;  rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;need the free BBSAK app&#60;/a&#62;.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Alternatively it looks like the Hulkster1970 posted up some OTA links &#60;a href=&#34;http://berryaddicted.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&#38;amp;t=2116&#34; onclick=&#34;javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/berryaddicted.com');&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;at this link&#60;/a&#62; or &#60;a href=&#34;http://wp.me/pzMN4-2h&#34; onclick=&#34;javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/wp.me');&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;this link directly&#60;/a&#62;.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Keep in mind this is not an official release so there will be bugs or it may not work at all!!!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Thanks Tashanna for sending this one in!&#60;br/&#62;&#60;a href=&#34;http://www.berryreview.com/2009/09/21/leaked-blackberry-im-clients-work-with-os-5-0/&#34;  rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;Leaked BlackBerry IM Clients Work With OS 5.0!&#60;/a&#62;&#60;/p&#62;

Yourfriendwayned just posted a screenshot and details of Facebook 1.7 &#60;a href=&#34;http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/software/6135-facebook-1-7-coming-soon-2.html#post110487&#34; onclick=&#34;javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.blackberryos.com');&#34; target=&#34;_blank&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;on BBOS forums&#60;/a&#62; that he got from some unnamed Polish site.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Features include:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;ul&#62;
&#60;li&#62;Ability to set filters for information like only status updates or pictures&#60;/li&#62;
&#60;li&#62;Increased speed in page load time&#60;/li&#62;
&#60;li&#62;New option in context menu: View Profile (duh!)&#60;/li&#62;
&#60;li&#62;Possibility of setting time of the news as the target customer for the FB-BB (not sure what that means…)&#60;/li&#62;
&#60;/ul&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Not much in terms of updates but this should help all the OS 5.0 beta users when it comes out (or hopefully leaks!). This should come out right with OS 5.0 in the next month or two.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Thanks to everybody who sent this in!&#60;/p&#62;

Others are restricted on company devices and cannot upgrade their own OS. Since most of these 5.0 builds are buggy as hell and many staple applications like IM and Facebook do not work even I have held off from using it on my main device.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;So if you just wanted to see what all the fuss is about check out one of the three videos below. This is a great way to see what is coming later this year without having to fuss with a buggy OS yourself. If you find some more or create one yourself let us know in the comments!&#60;/p&#62;
