Description:
To this next theme we aproached with some attitude! BlackBerry doesn

n

ve made Rollin

h

ll look at Your BlackBerry’s screen.

The design is made in the way that battery and signal meter are acccualy a part of art on Your screen. Same goes with user customizable buttons.

What else can we say about Rollin’? Get it, try it, ROLL it…

Description:
A complete makeover of your BlackBerry – GreenTech. Prepared for the new 5.0 operating system and tested by HedoneDesign BetaTesting group.

GreenTech is a new theme from HedoneDesign! There are number of features in this new theme, which so far we have not included or could not be done.

It is also the first theme from HedoneDesign created with the new BlackBerry Theme Studio 5.0. That also means that we included some new features that are available primarily to users of the new operating system 5.0.

It is also interesting that this is the first theme, which was tested by HedoneDesign BetaTesting team. Among our customers, we have selected some users with different models and different operating systems in order to test this theme and so we are able to offer the most user friendly and a great addition to design a quick and functional theme that will make your use of not only faster but also more interesting.

Theme is designed in natural green colors. Something natural and relaxing for your eyes. Time and meters (battery, signal) are large, easily visible and well coincide with a green background.

A rigorous, detailed design that gives the “Tech” part, which we used in theme name GreenTech. Even icons are easily identifiable and friendly for your eyes. So you will not have problems accustoming and use.
The theme is ready for the various BlackBerry models and operating systems, so make sure you choose one that will best serve you and your BlackBerry.

If you are using 4.x operating system must select 4.x topic. For more recent (5.x) operating system is better to take 5.x theme as it includes features that until now we did not use.

The theme is prepared in Zen (with TodayPreview function) and TodayPlus option. Be careful when choosing!

Main features:
- Made with BlackBerry Theme studio 5.0
- New, user friendly icons
- Multifunction icons
- Big clock and meters (battery and signal)
- Tested by HedoneDesign BetaTesting group
- Fast and reliable

Hi,

I seem to have killed my Bold screen.

I tried to change my bezel to a really nice matt black one, following the ebizworld guide on youtube. I'l normally really good with this kind of thing (Im a computer technician and have chipped Xbox's, PS etc in my past).

When Ive re-assembled my Bold and turned the device back on my screen lights up, but is all muddled up, the device seems to still work, I pressed my camera shortcut and took a picture, but the screen just seems screwed.

I have made sure the screen is connected + made a call from the phone and it all works fine, the screen is just mainly white and sometimes shows my wallpaper but it's all muddled up.

Any ideas people?

Hey I like this simple free app that works via wifi too, for those without an unlimited data plan. It is also free! which is great because so many weight loss apps are just fronts for paid services, this one is a free tool from a medical doctor's site in new york, which also has some other stuff online too.

Link to weight loss app info page http://weightlossnyc.com/weight-loss-ny/patient/blackberry.php

Simple food search tool gives calorie and nutritional results, plus has a really cool icon :B

Nice because it is simple results of items not brand names so I can get an idea of what I am eating. Not sure if the font size is an issue because of my own settings or the app but some item names get clipped off the screen but still good enough for me.

WeightLossNYC site has screenshots too and more info.

Works on my 8900 and older curve too.

that is kinda weird I have not used the device but it maybe something that OS 5.0 on the storm does. Let me know if you have not fixed this.

I would check on your auto text or password keeper it might be one of those things.

Noticed a post in this forum on October 15 about “How to Share Video.” I work with RealNetworks and wanted to share a new tool that easily downloads and converts any video--from home movies to your favorite Web clips regardless of file size or format -- to your BlackBerry. Here’s a quick how-to video to get you started on a Blackberry Bold: http://bit.ly/3EC48B

You can also view other how-to videos from transferring video to your Blackberry Pearl to loading an SD card here: http://bit.ly/VaO1p.

The new RealPlayer SP can convert videos in almost any format—including Flash, Windows Media, QuickTime & RealVideo—and automatically optimizes them for your handset in exactly two easy steps. Since the original beta launch this summer, we’ve seen over 32 million people download RealPlayer SP, and over 87 million videos have been downloaded using the product. You can find the free version here. Try it out -- would love to hear any feedback you might have about RealPlayer SP and the kinds of clips you're downloading.

I got a Storm 2 last week, and it's great except for one quirk. When I use Yahoo Messenger, the phone (or something else?) is storing my username and password somewhere, even when I do not check "Remember my ID and password". So when I open up the Yahoo Messenger screen and begin to type in my username, the username/password fields automatically populate.

I'd rather not have the username and password stored on the phone, but for the life of me cannot figure out where they are being stored or how to change this; any suggestions? I alsocan't figure out how to uninstall the program to try to reinstall it....would that be of any help?

The weird thing also, if I use YM to log in to chat with a DIFFERENT username/password, the phone does NOT store the different username/password......it only has one username/password combo stored. But I'd rather the phone not store anything. Any suggestions, thank you!

This is an answer to the memory boosting / recovery apps that cost a lot of money. Simple, no-nonsense and to the point, and I think this gets the job done at least as well and probably better:

http://store.berryreview.com/product.asp?id=40897

I've written long posts in the past against memory recovery apps, but now think there actually is some benefit in having a way to trigger garbage collection manually at chosen times -- such as just before starting an action game. The system is smart but not smart enough to know it should do garbage collection just before starting a game to avoid creating a pause during play when it could have gotten that out of the way beforehand.

Also, there are times during phone use that seem like opportune moments to take one to several seconds to collect garbage, such as whenever the backlight turns off, or when you unplug after charging. Better to get the garbage collection out of the way then so once we resume activity we have as long as possible before the next pause for garbage collection.

How long will your BlackBerry battery last? The mobile power battery depends on a wide array of factors, starting with the device model (mobile power battery) you're using, your proximity to cellular towers, and how often you're talking on a call, sending messages or surfing the mobile Internet. But regardless of whether or not you're constantly using a BlackBerry Storm, Bold 9000, or Curve 8900 in the city or the sticks, BatteryPlus (Portable Battery Booster) can monitor your real-time battery status and boost its running time efficiently.

BatteryPlus is a powerful battery boosting tool and power management application specially designed for BlackBerry. BatteryPlus automatically detects the type of your device (it differentiates between BlackBerry Storm, Tour, Bold and Curve series) and its active network (Edge, 3G, or Wi-Fi). Based on system specifics, BatteryPlus then provides the most accurate information on your battery charge, which includes remaining standby time and talk time, as well as the real-time battery capacity. An auto-updating live chart allows you to visually tracking your battery usage. You can adjust the chart view to examine battery capacity change during the day, week, and month.

BatteryPlus is also embedded with a variety of ultimate battery boosting techniques and provided the most easy-to-use boosting functions to boost up your battery's running time. For example, BatteryPlus will remember your last battery calibration time, notifies you when a monthly calibration is due, and turns off WiFi and LED when your BlackBerry is on low battery.

A must-have battery booster & managerfor BlackBerry users, enjoy!

TODAY THEME ISSUE SOLVED (TEMPORARILY):

You can still run a today theme. What I did was in the home screen I pressed the Blackberry key and selected options. Then under layout I selected "today" (default is 2 rows). Voila! A simple today screen that at least allows you to see your messages, phone calls and calendar (albeit next two appointments only).

I am assuming flash will be available whenever Skyfire decides to come out of Alpha testing into Beta testing.

Hope this helps!

This morning I upgraded my OS to 5.0 through the "official" channels. As I have read in other blogs, third party themes are not working properly in the new OS. I was using BBampd blue theme and in landscape mode it was white on both sides and when I scrolled it left impressions of the icons, kinda like when your computer freezes and your windows run.

Aside from that, I miss the today theme that I had and am looking for one that will now work with OS 5.0.

So far EVERYTHING seems faster. Faster touchscreen input, application response, etc....

The only thing is WHERE IS FLASH SUPPORT?
