2. If the carriers have any control over NFC payments, I'm not going to use it at all.
3. Clicking on the slides makes them show on screen at roughly the same size a a BlackBerry so are very hard to see.
4. Yes, It is always lovely to see yet another giveaway/competition/cool event that's North America only. Its the rest of the world that's keeping RIM profitable at the moment, but we get stiffed as usual...no PlayBook price cuts anywhere else etc.

7. it is a little ironic that RIM gives this app for free just as all current BBs have lost a convenience button that this app needs. I know its not a RIM app BTW.
8. The rubbish buttons lack of proper charging contacts and none auto focusing camera have killed this phone for me. Slimmer is not always better. RIM has removed functions to accommodate a thinner form factor mainly make it easier and cheaper for RIM to manufacture is serious backsliding in my opinion.
9. No, I don't like the buttons either. I do hope this thing has charging contacts like the rest of the Bold series as I'm really not keen on charging via USB like we do for the Storm series, plugging the USB port into the dock.
10. If your not in the US and to a lesser extent Canada, RIM doesn't care what we think or want. A fair example of this is the one convenience key on the 9800 when it first came out "because AT&T wanted it like that" but we all have to put up without the extra key on every phone since as well. The rest of the world gives RIM its profits but we aren't North America so we don't count. End rant.
