- Simon-- No its not for sure. We received this as a tip and I am unable to verify for another 5 hours. If anyone else can credit or disprove this we would appreciate it!
- John, trust me, I have tried BlueBox and it sucks. Buggy as hell, not verified by DropBox as official or even acknowledged. We want a native client for our PlayBooks! Not just a crappy app that someone with a few minutes and the SDK threw up (pun intended) onto AppWorld.
- Yes, I would hope that the DropBox folks have this in the works, but it never hurts to light a little fire under them so to speak! I had 6 votes to spare and all went to this!
- AHA! Upon closer inspection to the picture. It looks like the release will be available via Wireless Upgrade starting at 6:00pm EST.
- I have tested it on my personal blog, nathanfilz.com as well as BerryReview.com and it has been amazing. Great UI and features too! The only thing that I have not been able to do is add links... This is a huge killer for me, but I am guessing that there is a way to do this. If anyone figures it out or has a way to do this, please let me know>
- This program is definitely on the right track, however as of now it looks like it is only integrated into the Call Log. I really wish I could utilize this feature from an email message, or BB Messenger message. RIM come on and fix this, it really is ridiculous. I have programs that look for the mobile number only so if my BB saved their cell number as a work number I have to manually go in and cut the number from work and paste into mobile. Huge Pain.
- Kris is right, it is smoked colored. I never had any problems with being able to see the screen though. The 8830 has replaced several lighthouse lights on the east coast however :-), As far as getting the bubbles out, I didn't have any issues with that but I can definitely see what you are talking about with the lint.
- Just tried it and it worked for me... What device/carrier are you using?
- @Richard- I dont think that RIM is the only one at fault by any means, I think that ATT demanding a 3G device before RIM felt comfortable was the largest problem. I think that the lineup of GSM BlackBerry Devices proves that they are not comfortable with 3G just yet, Javelin, Pearl Flip 8820. Its no surprise to me that they released their iPhone Killer (Storm) on Verizon, as they have the best 3G coverage in the USA. @Baltee Thanks for the compliments! I do know that Americans have this sense of entitlement when it comes to new software & devices. We have come to expect perfection, and anything less is a slap in the face to many Americans.
- I actually like it... I didnt think that i would at all, but the shape and size seem very nice. Hopefully RIM has done a little bit more work for the release device. This may actually turn out to be the iPhone Killer!
