1. Worthwhile changes, but a sale category would be useful as one could easily spot items that go on sale.
2. Yayyyy! Someone else also appreciates the 9860!!! I also love mine but I've been getting annoyed at providers discontinuing this wonderful device -- not getting the love it deserves!
3. Sad to see the 9850/60 getting no love from carriers! It's large screen is displayed prominently everywhere to sell BlackBerry apps, but no one can buy the darn thing anymore except directly from RIM -- therefore, no carrier subsidies!
4. I think you are bang on! RIM was feeling the pressure to release BB10 early, so this was probably what the Alpha Dev devices were. However, Thorsten pulled the rug underneath that and delayed it so that it was done right. It may backfire a bit as the company has to go through two more horrible reporting periods of declining sales. The pressure to push something out will be huge. I suppose in the meanwhile, RIM will have the 3G (HSPA/HSPA+) and 4G (LTE) PlayBooks out, maybe even a 10-inch device!
5. HUGE kudos to Thorsten for that statement! More and more I LOVE THIS GUY! Quality is EVERYTHING as it impacts perception, and we all know that perception IS reality!
6. Thorsten is right. You can't just be in the game to succeed, you must play to win! They must continue to hit home runs with everything they do -- again, not to survive or succeed, but to win. Winning is doing it better, taking leadership, being innovative and pushing the envelope, and building healthy and strong partnerships not just with carriers and corporate users but with the plain-old-guy or gal on the street. Users aren't people you just throw things at or bait, you need to engage them in the product, and this is what RIM is doing so well with BB10. The app developers are making firm commitments to BB10 and PlayBook, and this will greatly expand the ecosystem and attract more users to the platform.

8. RIM should have at least announced it yesterday! They've got to bring the goods while all eyes are on them. At least say the 4G PlayBook is real and coming soon.

10. Brutally rubbish reporting! Ouch! Wonder who this fella works for? He failed to miss the point: who is behind this? Obviously he does know and made a point to be at the Apple store to record and post this garbage. RIM is above this -- I'm sure they won't poke fun at Apple or anyone else right now, and they have a good moral conscience. Of course, RIM is under new "management" but I seriously doubt if Mikey L would support such a campaign. To boot, July 2nd is too early for BB10. The organized protest/demonstration was captured and was purposely made to look like an amateur video. It is more likely Samsung is behind this as they have had a feud with Apple on licensing. Samsung may deny it, but they have more reason than any to do this. My one reservation is that Samsung is making money with each iPhone. Let's not forget that most of the hardware in an iPhone is designed and built by Samsung.
