- Segway rider, Unfortunately, I had to send back the YikeBike test unit. But I am very curious, how often do you use your Segway in NYC? Have you ever got into trouble for using it n the roads? How do you park it places? I have actually never tried a Segway but have always been intrigued.
- Awesome profile picture btw
- Carlos. Absolutely not. We just think it might be fun to cover something different every so often.
- I played with the Kindle Fire for about ten minutes. I wasn't super impressed. Funny enough, like the PlayBook, I couldn't find the native mail application. Although, that might be because I was on the demo unit. If there is one spec to look at when comparing it is the front facing camera. I would consider buying a solid tablet for my parents to check their email. But with a front facing camera we could also use it to video chat. For a family friendly device, the possibility of video calling could make all the difference between the two devices.
- This is definitely a huge redesign that is a leap in the right direction. I like the new forums conversation bar on the right, but what if that could change to most recent comments on the article you are reading, instead of having to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see if comments are interesting? This way while someone is reading the article, they are also seeing what people are saying about the article at the same time.
- I don't see any visual voicemail. The test unit is on Sprint.
- Thanks for pointing out my mistake with regards to the memory on the 9800. I corrected the post. However, according to the RIM website, the 9800 camera does not have geotagging or face recognition capabilities. http://us.blackberry.com/smartphones/blackberrytorch/#!phone-specifications
- Now that you mention it and I have one in each hand I see what you are saying. But, considering that I did not notice that at all during testing, I can't say that it made a difference.
- There is no bluetooth pairing with the MM1, nor do they work off battery. They are meant to be physically connected in a confined setting. Hope that helps!
- I'm curious, when typing in landscape, how many fingers did you use to type? Also, did you not type in portrait because then you would have had to hold it up during the meeting?
