- The PlayBook OS is controlled and pushed by RIM vs BB OS leaks come from testing versions sent to carriers. With PlayBook OS RIM does not need to hand it over to the carriers so don't expect this to change anytime soon. Maybe once a 3G version is available, but even then RIM said it only has to hand over the code part that deals with the carriers so RIM has more control on this OS than before,

- Having skype or netflix is not a basic functionality theres more to it, skype is owned by microsoft, so RIM has to work out deals with the companies to get them to develop unless the companies decide to develop them by themselves. So is not as simple as many may think.
- Couldn't agree more, just release it already, at least as a beta for devs.
