1. interesting that it would use GPS instead of cell towers. Wouldn't that make it useless when you're on a profile that disabled GPS?
2. an actual perk for Canadians is that most carriers here allow free tethering (i know for Rogers, they allow anyone with a 1GB or more data plan to tether for free)
3. Staples seems to be touting the Playbook quite a bit, even more so than BB. Shots of the in-store displays are showing up everywhere.
4. Looks like Staples may even be a better place than RIM's own 'retail partners' BB and Futureshop. Plus in Canada you can use a $50 off coupon for staples.ca!
