1. I've just noticed that this update is not yet available on my 9900 yet. May be carrier, device and/or area specific.
2. Yes you would definitely need a username and password.. Personally I enjoy the benefits of a BES, but it's not for everyone. :)
3. LOL. yes, but reactivation is needed even then sometimes, usually when that user is not in the office.... :)

And it's a great app too, to re-add the feature to a Blackberry, but unfortunately there are times when there are "difficulties explaining to users how to download from appworld" (Ie. they've forgotten their password, or simply never used it) or within corporate environments where access to AppWorld is blocked unfortunately. This is just simply another method of doing an activation on a BES Express.
5. You are welcome. Happy to help. There are work arounds for almost everything on wishes to do with a Blackberry, which is part of it's power in a way and part of the fun and inginuity of it's users too... As for the the forwarding, yes they are primarily one way, but thankfully you are using outlook and can create rules. What I have some users do is set up the automatic forwarding/copy from the device and on Outlook, create a rule that whenever it receives a message copy from you, it moves it into sent items. If it's an exchange rule, then this will happen automatically. As for the Desktop Redirector, as long as you update the device drivers initially on the computer, it should keep functioning for the new device. Yes a single setup for your email, would be free. I'll be doing up an article on how to do this very soon as well.
6. There are many different ways to do this, but it would depend on the setup at your office. There is the potential there to keep using the desktop redirector, setup a single bes, forwarding, etc. There's definitely quite a few options.
