T-Mobile and RIM finally came out of the closet and announced the release of the 8120 with WiFi. Not much else is new but it is the Pearl 2. The cool part about the whole release is the chance to win one of over 1,000 BlackBerry 8120s just by registering at this link. Winners are [...]

T-Mobile has launched the much awaited 8820 today. I was just reading about it on phonemag.com. What is interesting is that the 8100 black and white version are out of stock. Maybe they are planning to add the 8120 series soon? Rumors have been abound…
You can pick up the 8820 currently from T-Mobile’s website for [...]

I was reading this post by Zach on BoyGenius regarding T-Mobiles latest Q4 results. I am surprised that T-Mobile is managing to stay relevant regardless of them being behind in the race towards 3G/4G. I always thought that data was the new voice for wireless carriers but T-Mobile seems to be proving that wrong. T-Mobile [...]

Steven, the admin of Themes4BB, has released a VERY slick New York Yankees theme for the BlackBerry 8300 series. The theme is in Zen style and looks nothing like his previous sport team themes. This one is all Yankees. The titlebar is nice and themed and the icons are gorgeous.
This has to be one of [...]

The WiFi UMA capabilities of the 8820 may finally be put to use according to a rumor BoyGenius & BBCool reported about. Supposedly T-Mobile will be releasing the 8820 on March 5th. This is not really big news since the 8820 has been available from AT&T for ages now but it will be the first to [...]

I took a serious double take when I read this little bit of news on Engadget mobile a few days back. I did not realize the full ramifications of the article until later. I know many users who wanted T-Mobile Hotspot@Home were annoyed when the price went up from $9.99 a month to $19.99 a month for new [...]

Since I wrote this post Peter has removed the purchase option from BBextras.com. Peter told me he has been forced to discontinue sales. Its a shame, these new themes were truly on the cutting edge of BlackBerry theme design. It is really sad to see Peters themes gone.
Peter MacDonald of BBeXtras has out done himself [...]

It seems like T-mobile has decided to push out a link to all of their BlackBerry subscribers for their Facebook application. I have already received two emails about it so I thought I would let everybody else in on the details.
RIM and T-mobile have pushed out a link to many T–mobile BlackBerry users that puts [...]

That has to be one of the longest theme names I have ever seen. NancyDrew at Themes4BB has released this new theme that is just a big mashup of styles. It incorporates icons from the iPhone and backgrounds from Louis Vuitton with butterflies added for effect. I am not sure what else I can say [...]

PhoneScoop has just discovered some FCC goodness in a filing by RIM. This is that same 8120 WiFi-Berry you have heard about earlier. It seems that the upcoming 8120 will have UMA but as we mentioned earlier no GPS. The thing that always irks me about these new WiFi devices is why they sometimes come [...]
