I found this little tip on CrackBerry Australia. I’ve tried it and it works well…Thanks CybaCowboy…
On the Home screen, hold “Alt” and press “N”, “M”, “L”, “L”…
For those wanting a signal meter that is a little more specific, this will show the decibels (”dBm”) of the current signal!
Repeat the above process to switch back to [...]

Now this one just surprises me. The Pearl is one of T-Mobile’s hottest smartphones. Also the new Pearl 8120 can support their leading Hotspot@Home technology over WiFi. So it makes me wonder why they are one of the last carriers in the United States to get the Pearl 2 with WiFi! Even AT&T got it before [...]

This is a short one guys. Gary at ViralElectronics managed to snag a copy of the new AT&T rebate form that features the so far unreleased 8110 with a $50 rebate. I guess that means AT&T will be getting the 8110 very soon to compliment their already stocked 8100 & 8120 devices.
I guess AT&T is [...]

Sprint has been pining for quite awhile how the iDen networks are not dead and how they have been investing millions of dollars into them. Joshua Carp of BoyGenius picked up this little piece of news from GearLog.com and BBCool and BlackBerrySync seem to confirm as much.
According to all, Dan Hesse the CEO of Sprint mentioned [...]

Following Verizon’s announcement of the 8330 Sprint has offered their own ante. They have announced that the 8330 will be available from Sprint sometime this month. Nice and vague.
You can register to hear about the release when it happens at this link http://www.sprint.com/curve. Sadly there is no word about Rev A…
From the release:
The BlackBerry Curve [...]

I always love when carriers just shoot themselves in the foot. Verizon announced today that they will release the 8330 in… wait for it… May. Talk about seriously dangling the proverbial carrot. All the other carriers have had the Curve for months! Oh an by the way WES is in… May.
The only two features that look [...]

After us mistakenly posting (Thanks Kevin) about the 8120 being released on T-Mobile today I decided to verify this one. In a not so surprising move AT&T has grabbed up the 8120 today for general release. It has been passing around business channels for a bit now so I guess a consumer release was to be expected.
You can [...]

T-Mobile has launched the much awaited 8820 today. I was just reading about it on phonemag.com. What is interesting is that the 8100 black and white version are out of stock. Maybe they are planning to add the 8120 series soon? Rumors have been abound…
You can pick up the 8820 currently from T-Mobile’s website for [...]
