Steven, the admin of Themes4BB, has released a VERY slick New York Yankees theme for the BlackBerry 8300 series. The theme is in Zen style and looks nothing like his previous sport team themes. This one is all Yankees. The titlebar is nice and themed and the icons are gorgeous.
This has to be one of [...]

With Sprint, ATT,Verizon set to offer $99 unlimited calling plans things seem to be looking on the up and up. Personally I don’t spend more than 300 minutes on the phone a month but I know others that spend 100 times as much. I guess T-mobile will have to follow suit with their own $99 [...]

Just as a courtesy reminder for all AT&T users. I got an email from AT&T that the name@mycingular.blackberry.net email addresses will be going dark come April 2nd 2008. Until then you still have the automatic redirection but from then on out you will only have a name@att.blackberry.net email address.

I know many people will not even know what I am talking about so I will stop and explain. A few years ago when I used T-Mobile there was a beautiful option on my 7100t that allowed me to know when a person received a text message. This option is built into the GSM protocol [...]

The WiFi UMA capabilities of the 8820 may finally be put to use according to a rumor BoyGenius & BBCool reported about. Supposedly T-Mobile will be releasing the 8820 on March 5th. This is not really big news since the 8820 has been available from AT&T for ages now but it will be the first to [...]

I took a serious double take when I read this little bit of news on Engadget mobile a few days back. I did not realize the full ramifications of the article until later. I know many users who wanted T-Mobile Hotspot@Home were annoyed when the price went up from $9.99 a month to $19.99 a month for new [...]

Have you ever been stuck on the highway in the middle of nowhere and needed to process a credit card? I thought so. Pipeline data has released a perfect solution for such an situation by teaming up with Sprint to offer wireless Bluetooth payment processing. Even though I know how high the demand is for such a product [...]

Reports have been coming out all around the country about a data outage on AT&T today. It does not seem to have been a problem on RIM’s side since this is also hurting iPhone users. I have not seen any issues on AT&T in New York but InfoWorld and quite a few others have reported [...]

I guess red is February’s color of the month for BlackBerrys and all the carriers are jumping on the bandwagon. I assume the red is intended as a Valentines day gift?
Alltel is the latest carrier offering the same 8130 but now in red. The price is the same as the bluish version they offered until now at $149.99 after a [...]

This is the first I have heard of the 8110 landing on North American shores. I was just reading a press release that Simon sent me about Rogers releasing the new 8110 GPS Pearl. The device did not interest me as much as the details that Rogers put in the press release.
Is it just me or [...]
