I remember the times when I was plagued with a Java Error code 310 on my BlackBerry and could find no resource that detailed exactly what that error meant. RIM has posted a pretty good guide in the BlackBerry Knowledgebase defining what those Java error codes mean and how to troubleshoot them. Sadly none of [...]

While poking around on the BlackBerry mobile site I ran across a new free Blackjack game from Handmark. The game is actually quite fun to pass some quick minutes before a meeting. Its a standard Blackjack game and it adds shortcuts so the game flows quicker. The D key deals a new hand, the H [...]

Eric Savitz of TechTraderDaily wrote an interesting article yesterday breaking down RBC Capital analyst Mike Abramsky’s comments. We usually stay away from the stock market news on BerryReview but I found Mike’s predictions interesting:
Abramsky is especially high on the prospects for the Pearl 2 phone, which he expects to launch before year end. He says [...]

RIM has finally conceded the issue with Gmail emails showing duplicates on your BlackBerry and has posted an approved workaround that many people have been using for quite awhile. The problem originates from the fact that Gmail does not have a folder structure and all email including sent mail is stored in the same folder. [...]

Many users I know have always complained that the BlackBerry calendar deletes all appointments older than 90 days. After reading a recent RIM Knowledgebase article I found that this is a known bug. It turns out that this is actually a symptom of using the BlackBerry Desktop redirector. The redirector installs an CICAL service book [...]

With all this speculation going on about how a Microsoft-RIM deal would turn out I found an interesting article on the Inquirer that quotes Jim Cramer. Cramer, the famed stock-tipper, is quoted as saying that Microsoft would “ruin BlackBerry maker Research In Motion if it went for a much-rumored merger. You can check out the [...]

One of the biggest challenges for Apple and the iPhone is the fact that they are not supported in corporate environments. MiBlackBerry has pointed out a BlackBerry KnowledgeBase article that states that there is no information on a BlackBerry Connect client for the iPhone as of now. This is just speculation but maybe BlackBerry connect [...]

Since I am not much of a fashion aficionado I was quite surprised when I learned from a Wall Street Journal article by Jessica E. Vascellaro that RIM just sponsored a fashion show in NYC for emerging designers. Two nights ago RIM co-sponsored the Gen Art fashion show along with T-Mobile USA. RIM has [...]

I found this interesting article on 247wallst.com about Cisco dumping Palm devices for their support staff. The author, Jon Ogg, thought this would be a great opportunity for RIM but it seems like other competitors are getting the business instead. He does not know why BlackBerry’s are missing from the list for Cisco support staff [...]
