Sorry guys I don’t have the time to summarize this so I will just post what they sent. Don’t hold it against me. The info is not that shocking but the FAQ’s on the bottom are interesting.
Great news! RIM recently announced an upcoming BlackBerry platform update with performance enhancements including the ability to support native [...]

Not long ago RIM relented and gave us a MP3 player, external media, and a standard headphone jack. Since then they have made some small improvements but the features and options are still pitiful! When OS 4.3 came out on the 8130 I was hoping for some nice additions but still nothing. So now we are hearing [...]

$890,000 seems like quite a bit of money until your remember that RIM paid out $612.5 Million to NTP to settle their patent infringement lawsuit in 2006. Josep just sent me an interesting article on CNN money that details the amount RIM has spent to lobby for patent reform. Patent reform has been embraced by [...]

Earlier GadgetCanada.ca posted some screenshots of BlackBerry Unite. They have since taken them down but the pictures are already out. For all of those people (including me) who thought BlackBerry Unite would turn out to be vaporware we have some more proof that it may come to to a continent near you soon. I just [...]

I came across two posts over the weekend that really perked my interest and decided to share them. First are some live screenshots of OS 4.5 and BES 4.1.5 SP5 live in action. This is some pretty hot stuff delivered courtesy of Jibi from BoyGenius showing us just what to expect in these new releases. It seems [...]

I guess red is February’s color of the month for BlackBerrys and all the carriers are jumping on the bandwagon. I assume the red is intended as a Valentines day gift?
Alltel is the latest carrier offering the same 8130 but now in red. The price is the same as the bluish version they offered until now at $149.99 after a [...]

This is the first I have heard of the 8110 landing on North American shores. I was just reading a press release that Simon sent me about Rogers releasing the new 8110 GPS Pearl. The device did not interest me as much as the details that Rogers put in the press release.
Is it just me or [...]

We knew that different colored 8130’s were coming but I had no idea that the 8830 was in for a color change. The 8800 series is more of a business device so I am not sure how well this will take off in Red. I have a crimson red 8310 but I guess RIM is [...]

A few days ago Ronen posted about ‘The Missing Sync’ and Entourage 2008 incompatibility. In truth the situation is not as bleak as many have portrayed. Especially when you discover the power of PocketMac.
For those BlackBerry users out there that are having problems with ‘The Missing Sync’ or just don’t want to cough up the [...]

Well you know how RIM likes to make promises? They have finally delivered on one they made months ago by partnering together with Verizon to release the small business oriented BlackBerry Professional Software. This software is more of a watered down BES for 30 or less users.
You can read the glorious press release below:
BlackBerry Professional [...]
