This is the first I have heard of the 8110 landing on North American shores. I was just reading a press release that Simon sent me about Rogers releasing the new 8110 GPS Pearl. The device did not interest me as much as the details that Rogers put in the press release.
Is it just me or [...]

We knew that different colored 8130’s were coming but I had no idea that the 8830 was in for a color change. The 8800 series is more of a business device so I am not sure how well this will take off in Red. I have a crimson red 8310 but I guess RIM is [...]

A few days ago Ronen posted about ‘The Missing Sync’ and Entourage 2008 incompatibility. In truth the situation is not as bleak as many have portrayed. Especially when you discover the power of PocketMac.
For those BlackBerry users out there that are having problems with ‘The Missing Sync’ or just don’t want to cough up the [...]

Well you know how RIM likes to make promises? They have finally delivered on one they made months ago by partnering together with Verizon to release the small business oriented BlackBerry Professional Software. This software is more of a watered down BES for 30 or less users.

Okay I have to take an objective step back here and wonder if I missed something. While I was at CES I posted a LIVE picture and details about the BlackBerry Remote Stereo Gateway. Mind you I had the device in hand at the RIM CES booth and even got to try it out. (I [...]

I just got an email from RIM that registration for WES (Wireless Enterprise Symposium) 2008 is now open for registration. Many people have been waiting for this since RIM started the countdown to WES in November last year.
WES is the biggest RIM event of the year and from what I can tell it will be [...]

I am proposing a response to RIM’s “Ask Somebody Why They Love Their BlackBerry” marketing campaign we told you about earlier. Our campaign will rightfully be titled “Ask Somebody Why They Hate Their BlackBerry.” RIM has never made an open push to ask users what they feel could be improved in their BlackBerry devices. This [...]

RIM has started an interesting new marketing campaign called “Ask Someone Why They Love Their BlackBerry.” The idea is that RIM has a few featured owners sharing their love for the BlackBerry. On top of that RIM is asking users to submit their story of why they love their Berrys.
RIM has a whole philosophy as [...]

Remember those bad pictures we had of the Pink and Red BlackBerrys at CES? Well the first of them is about to come to light tomorrow on Verizon. The Pink BlackBerry 8130 is coming right in time for Valentines Day this year. I wonder how RIM and Verizon are going to spin it. Nothing changed [...]

After all the promises we told you RIM made at Lotusphere we have one more followup from RIM. RIM previewed a BlackBerry Client for IBM Lotus Connections yesterday. The client runs natively on BlackBerry smartphones to provide users with access to Lotus Connections social software for business. According to RIM the client will be free when it [...]
