Get your Football (What we Americans call Soccer) fix this year with a shortcut to m.goal.com on your homescreen. Personally I think you can just shortcut this yourself with a bookmark but RIM likes to create shortcuts for us. It makes them feel productive.
I am not much of a Football person so here is [...]

All of you CDMA users realize that Verizon and Sprint are the last to receive any OS update love. So it was nice when one of our readers, Paul, dropped me a tip that they have update their OS on 5/30/2008. The new features in the latest OS are miniscule but still nice to see:
Verizon [...]

The BoyGenius caught some live pictures of the upcoming touchscreen BlackBerry Thunder. Not much to say here other than I have confirmed with 3 sources that this will be the formfactor for the touchscreen BlackBerry. Thanks BoyGenius! (check out his post for another side shot)
Thanks to Randy for the tip!

Now I can’t say why RIM tried charging for S/MIME in the first place. (Greedy?) I just got an email from one of our readers, Nick, that RIM has stopped charging for S/MIME support for BlackBerry. This should have been something RIM should offered originally as part of BES and has now learned its lesson. [...]

Rogers has just announced the release of their 8120 Wifi BlackBerry. The best part is that Rogers is the first Canadian carrier to support UMA. I am surprised it took RIM so long! UMA means you can make calls over WiFi. I wish AT&T would follow suit but its taking awhile for carriers to realize that [...]

I just ran across a great Knowledge Base article on RIM’s website explaining how to calculate the free memory available on your Berry. They explain how the status screen comes up with the calculations. The only problem is that you need desktop manager to do it yourself to break down what is taking all your [...]
