Mo just let me know that Bplay has released a slick new FlowBerry theme to follow up on their ground breaking crossbar theme. The theme has a slick coverflow-like menu bar that just looks awesome. Sadly you can not configure the coverflow menu yourself but it does include: Messages, Calendar, Address Book, Media, SMS, BlackBerry [...]

I usually don’t pay much attention to these promotions in the Owners Lounge but Fabian pointed them out to me. Nothing crazy like a free $10 gift certificate but some interesting discounts and free trials.
Free six-month subscription to Fast Company - US Only
Free 3-month exclusive offer on Pocket Express Elite
Save 50% on GreenFinder - Golf [...]

I know I was wondering where the current OS device simulators were until Richard enlightened me. It turns out that after OS 4.3 RIM has started bundling the device simulators for 4.5 and now with 4.6 into the JDE. They are no longer available for download separately.
I have had quite a few people ask me [...]

Stefano just let me know that Vodafone just released a version of Desktop Manager 4.6. I tried installing it and it worked in English so it should work for you.
This is an official RIM released version so it should be stable. I did not see mediasync in this version.
Check it out at this link:

MediaSync has been out unofficially for quite awhile now so it was about time for it to be released. Nothing new seems to be added to this release but let me know if you do find anything. It essentially allows you to sync your non-DRM music and playlists from iTunes to your BlackBerry. You need [...]

There have been quite a few leaks regarding the BlackBerry KickStart. It will be the first flip phone coming from RIM so it will be interesting to see how it fairs.
Kevin @ CrackBerry managed to get his hands on a pre-production model of the KickStart and has completed a review of the hardware inside [...]

I am not sure if I am the first to notice this but there is a new link on the BlackBerry Help page at mobile.blackberry.com. It now lets you search to see what instant messaging applications are available for your BlackBerry.
Just go to www.blackberry.com/instantmessaging/ from your BlackBerry!
You then click the search button and [...]

Richard just let me know that the BlackBerry 4.6 JDE (Java Development Environment) was just released in public beta. This has to be a first for RIM. A public beta. Who would have thought… RIM IS listening!
Developers have been complaining to RIM for quite awhile that OS 4.6 and the Bold are right around the [...]

SanaTizer just sent in a tip that RIM has posted BES 4.1.6 on their website. That means that Service Pack 6 of BES 4.1 is now official! This is a bit of a surprising move to me but hey I won’t complain.
BES 4.1.6 brings:
HTML email to BES emails by default (no hack needed)
Support for IBM [...]

Ryan let me know that Bplay released a theme called iBerry that looks really slick. I know quite a few people have been looking for a clean Today Plus style theme since the RIM version is only available for some devices. The theme looks great and it is cool how the bottom bar comes up [...]
