Magmic has just announced the released of 2 new games for BlackBerry devices. They really seem to be ramping up their output of games recently so hopefully the quality is on par. Once again both of these games do not have trial versions so if your interested in how the game plays wait for us [...]

Josep just sent me a link to a new portal on RIM’s website for all the native RIM Instant Messaging applications. The applications are still restricted to specific carriers by service books but if your carrier does support them the links are now all in one place.
I also noticed on the AOL Instant Messenger page [...]

I was just reading a great article about BlackBerry sales this past Thanksgiving on Seeking Alpha. It seems that even though RIM was not celebrating Thanksgiving in Canada they did quite well and have much to be thankful for with over 1.7 million new subscribers so far this quarter.
Seeking Alpha has some really great stats on [...]

If you are one of those people (like me) who has to have the latest version of everything…RIM has just released updated versions of the Google Talk and Yahoo Messenger clients. The version is a bump from 2.0.33 to 2.0.38. As usual RIM has provided no release notes or change log so we have no [...]

I was just forwarded a great link on the BlackBerry website that breaks down the features of each different BlackBerry email solution. Seidio seems to be working very hard on their OEM battery line for BlackBerry devices. This time they have outdone themselves by increasing their original extended battery from 1300mAh to 1500mAh. They claim you will be seeing 30–35% more battery life than the original 900mAh battery that comes with your curve. The best part is [...]

Mark McQueen has a great article at Seeking Alpha about Jim Balsillie’s latest comments at Scotia Capital Tech/Telecom Conference. I always knew the Jim liked to talk big but calling the new BlackBerry Unite Platform the Holy Grail might be a bit premature. I realize that it would be awesome to have all those features [...]

It seems that after all the hubbub about GPS being locked down on the Verizon 8830 there is finally a way to use Verizon’s Navigator service on your 8830. A new patch that Simon at BBCool caught opens up the door for Verizon 8830’s to work with the Verizon Navigator GPS application. If you remember [...]

I just read a great Knowledgebase article on RIM’s website that compares the RIM Facebook application with the regular Facebook mobile website. It is pretty details and I found it to be quite a good read. You can catch the full comparison after the jump or at the following link.

I have been seeing multiple reports about a statement by Research in Motion (RIM) vice-president of customer accounts, Gregory Wade, who spoke to Business Standard for an article that was posted today.
He is quoted saying:
We will also announce another 4-5 models in 2008 and all of them would be packed with consumer-friendly applications and design.
Now [...]
