I am still trying to understand where the Javelin fits into the whole BlackBerry product line but I guess I will stay in the dark for now. Chris of Engadget Mobile scored some shots of a dummy BlackBerry Javelin that look authentic. It looks very similar to the Bold with one major thing missing. 3G.

UPDATE: False alarm. Everything seems to be working fine now with no new updates. I guess they had a glitch. Funny since it was out on at least 3 continents from the reports I was getting.
Nickolaus just let me know that RIM’s Mobile.BlackBerry.com website is down. Host unknown. I wonder what RIM is up to…

Cherri from PinStack just noticed that RIM has released another cool theme. It seems to be for the 8300 & 8800 series devices.

Just heard that BlackBerry Unite Version 1.01 was just released. Everybody who already has BlackBerry Unite should have gotten an auto update. Sadly this new version does not have a changelog so its up to you to tell us if you notice anything different.
