All of you CDMA users realize that Verizon and Sprint are the last to receive any OS update love. So it was nice when one of our readers, Paul, dropped me a tip that they have update their OS on 5/30/2008. The new features in the latest OS are miniscule but still nice to see:

All of you BIS users rejoice. BIS 2.5 is almost upon us and RIM has released the full feature list for the latest update. Many of these features requires OS 4.5 along with BIS 2.5 so don’t get your hopes up so fast… Thanks Josep for the tip!

Nikolaus has been keeping a keen eye on the updates from Guitar Hero that Bplay promised. There have not been any updates until yesterday Nikolaus caught 3 new songs in what is called the “Jun Bonus Set”

The BoyGenius caught some live pictures of the upcoming touchscreen BlackBerry Thunder. Not much to say here other than I have confirmed with 3 sources that this will be the formfactor for the touchscreen BlackBerry. Thanks BoyGenius! (check out his post for another side shot)

Rogers has just announced the release of their 8120 Wifi BlackBerry. The best part is that Rogers is the first Canadian carrier to support UMA.
