Bplay has released an interesting new line of themes relating to your Zodiac symbol. While the Zodiac is not generally my cup of tea I thought it was interesting to see Bplay stretch beyond the Icon, Today, and Zen categorization of their themes. The have added a new specialty category for these Zodiac themes with [...]

Magmic released two new interesting games over the weekend. One of them, Leisure Suit Larry, is an old time classic. I cant wait to try both out. Both are pretty cool looking role playing games. I guess Magmic & bPlay are really trying to define the BlackBerry as a viable role playing platform. Sadly due [...]

Magmic came through on their promise to release 2 games every 2 weeks on Thursdays. This Thursday brings a Bruce Lee: Iron Fist and Shock Blocks to the BlackBerry. Bruce Lee has to be the first fighting game I have ever seen for the BlackBerry so you can bet that we will review it. Shock [...]

First of all I think it is stupid of RIM to still not allow you to access the Owners Lounge from your BlackBerry. With that said Hayden got the skinny on another free Magmic game, Pub Checkers, in the BlackBerry Owners Lounge. This is just the plain old Checkers game you grew up with.
Once again you need [...]

One of our contacts at Magmic just let me know about a survey they have just completed of BlackBerry/Smartphone gamers. These are the results of the survey we mentioned in the end of January. In the survey Magmic tried to identify behavior and usage trends in smartphone/blackberry entertainment.
What they found was actually quite interesting. I copied the highlights below:
90 [...]

It’s been there for a few days now but I completely forgot about it. The Magmic game Disco Bowling is now available for free in the BlackBerry Owners Lounge. Personally I think RIM could have done a much better job with the Owners Lounge but I guess we have to live with what we get.
The [...]

Both games clock in at $9.99 from Bplay.com and both sadly lack trials. Stay tuned for some reviews if you are hesitant. Luc and [...]

Hey, I am Brazilian, I should be reviewing a soccer game. I don’t know anything about basketball. Well, maybe basketball is your game. If it is, you can play it in your Blackberry too.

In 1984, I spent a few days in one of my aunts’ house. Although her son, that is my cousin, and I were just about the same age, for some reason we rarely ever got to see each other and spend some time together. He had [...]

Review: White House Rumble By Magmic
Rating: 8/10

OTA: www.magmic.com

White House Rumble is a boxing game with a political twist. Well, not really. Political figures are mocked, but this is not really about politics, it’s about making fun and having fun. Especially if you’re mad at someone. Especially if you’re mad at politicians. Who [...]
