The BoyGenius caught some live pictures of the upcoming touchscreen BlackBerry Thunder. Not much to say here other than I have confirmed with 3 sources that this will be the formfactor for the touchscreen BlackBerry. Thanks BoyGenius! (check out his post for another side shot)

Well this has just been fun. First one of our birdies told us that the OS 4.5.0.37 is now available once again for BlackBerry partners to download.
Next we got an image from another birdie that caught one of the Rogers sales reps at his local store pimping OS 4.5.0.37 on her BlackBerry 8120. Sorry [...]

Our anonymous tipster also showed us an interesting screenshot of the files installed by the upcoming BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.5. I guess Josep was on the money when he caught the Symbian files.
Turns out that when you install Desktop Manager 4.5 it installs two new DLL files in the Common files folder shown below:

VBBClientCommForNokia.dll
VBBClientCommForWM.dll

Chalk this one up to the RUMOR category. Josep just caught some interesting information in the device.xml file. (Translated to English) It seems like there is reference to a new (SYM) Symbian virtual platform for BlackBerry.
I know it has been over a year since RIM mentioned the Virtual BlackBerry experience for Windows Mobile and they have still [...]

I just got word that RIM has just released some of the development tools for OS 4.6 to their BlackBerry Universe Partners.
Included in this update:

Simon at BBCool has gotten some more confirmation on the feature sets of OS 4.5 and 4.6. OS 4.5 is still set to release this summer for everything but the 8707 which is what we expected. I am surprised it is including the 8703 versions but that has happened before.

It seems like RIM has returned from WES with some real action plans. They have just released BlackBerry OS 4.5.0.37 Bundle 52 to their BlackBerry partners. This is promising news since it usually means that the official OS 4.5 release is not that far off.
